1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering on WorkerConnect as a worker, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not register on or use the platform.
2. Role of the Platform
WorkerConnect acts solely as an intermediary platform that connects workers with contractors for daily-wage and contract-based work. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, the actual employment relationship, work performed, or any agreement made between a worker and a contractor.
3. Eligibility & Registration
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, including personal details, identity documents, bank details, and work experience. You are responsible for keeping your account details and documents up to date, and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
4. Worker Responsibilities
As a worker, you are responsible for applying only to jobs you are genuinely able and qualified to perform, showing up for accepted work on time, checking in and out accurately, and conducting yourself professionally and safely at the workplace.
5. Attendance, Check-in & Payments
Attendance and check-in codes are used to verify your presence at a job and to calculate payments due to you. You agree to check in and out honestly for actual work performed, and understand that discrepancies may be reviewed by our support team before payment is released.
6. Insurance Coverage & Deactivation Policy
Eligible workers and contractors on WorkerConnect may be covered under the platform's work-related insurance benefit. This insurance coverage is directly linked to your activity status on the platform. If a worker or contractor remains inactive — meaning no login, check-in, or other platform activity — for a continuous period of 10 (ten) days, their insurance coverage will be automatically deactivated. Coverage can be reactivated once you resume regular activity on the platform, subject to the applicable terms of the insurance provider.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the platform to provide false information, misrepresent your skills or identity, harass or discriminate against contractors or other workers, circumvent platform payments, or upload fraudulent or forged documents. Any violation may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.
8. Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to contractors, other workers, or the platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
WorkerConnect is not liable for disputes, losses, injuries, or damages arising from the working relationship between workers and contractors. The platform is provided on an "as is" basis, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any significant changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use of WorkerConnect after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Contact Us
